The Most Expensive Skins in Fortnite

The Most Expensive Skins in Fortnite

Here are the most expensive skins in all of Fortnite, enjoy!

Epic Games has created scarcity in certain skins by only making them available through the Fortnite Battle Pass, or other special offers. These rare Fortnite skins can accumulate massive price tags because of their scarcity. But which are the absolute rarest skins in the game? Which skins require the biggest wallets?

Spider Knight [2000 V Bucks]

We’ll kick off with a classic. Clocking in at the top price tag in the Fortnite Item Shop is the legendary skin Spider Knight.

Spider Knight

The Spider Knight will set you back a whole 2000 V Bucks when purchased from the Epic Games Store. However, when a Fortnite player shows up to the Battle Royale with Spider Knight equipped, you know how big a flex that is

Galaxy [$900]

Okay, next up a bit of a cheeky one – the Galaxy. Fortnite's players could not purchase the Galaxy skin from the Fortnite Item Shop. The only way to obtain the Galaxy skin in game was to complete the Samsung Fortnite skin promotion.

Galaxy Fortnite

But The promotion required ownership of either a Samsung Galaxy Note 9, or Galaxy Tab S4. And with such an expensive requirement to receive the Galaxy skin, not many players were able to add the Galaxy skin to their Fortnite Locker. I mean, think about it, A Samsung Galaxy Note 9 costs approximately $900, meaning the Fortnite Galaxy skin would require you to spend about $900 to get in your locker.

Black Knight [4000 V Bucks]

Let’s head back into the history books with our next skin, the Black Knight. This skin appeared in Fortnite Chapter 1 Season 2, at tier 70 in the Battle Pass. And in fact, it’s a little piece of Fortnite history because this was the first Legendary Outfit to appear in a Battle Pass.

Black Knight

Unfortunately, you can’t get it directly anymore, but you can buy it second hand. However, this OG skin will cost you the equivalent of 4000 V Bucks to purchase from a second hand seller.

Astro Jack [2000 V Bucks]

Okay, fast-forwarding quite a bit, up next we have the Astro Jack skin which was released during the Travis Scott Astronomical concert. Astro Jack was only in the item shop for a brief period of time, and has not been back in rotation since.

Astro Jack Skin

In case you didn’t know, Astro Jack is a member of the Icon Series set. This is a set of skins based on real-world celebrities, musicians, and online entertainers. And this one happens to be particularly popular, which makes it so expensive.

Royale Bomber [$500]

But speaking of expensive, this next one is wild, it’s the Royale Bomber.

Royale Bomber

The Royale Bomber is another Fortnite skin that was introduced via a promotion. And unfortunately, it's an exceptionally difficult skin to obtain now that the promotion has come to a close. You’ll have to pay an arm and a leg for this skin from a second hand seller - seriously the prices will blow your mind, easily $500.

Sparkle Specialist [Battle Pass]

While we’re talking veteran skins, the Sparkle Specialist is another OG Battle Pass skin, much like Black Knight.

Sparkle Specialist

Sparkle Specialist wears an outfit that shines with glitter, and reflective sequins from head to toe. If you were one of the lucky few who managed to fill out the Fortnite Season 2 Battle Pass I hope you know how lucky you are to get two of the most expensive Fortnite skins of all time. If you didn’t get into Fortnite in time for the Season 2 Battle Pass, you may have to pay up to some outrageous expensive prices to obtain these skins from a second hand seller.

Honor Guard [$650]

Okay, up next it’s another smartphone promotion skin.

Honor Guard Fortnite

The Honor Guard was a Huawei promotional skin, released in January 2019. The only way to get Honor Guard into your Fortnite Locker now is by purchasing an Honor View 20 tablet. But that little maneuver will set you back 650 real bucks, not V Bucks.

Ghoul Trooper [1500 V Bucks]

Now, let's go with the one that I actually do like the look of, it’s the Ghoul Trapper.

Ghoul Trooper

The Ghoul Trooper has a price tag of 1500 V Bucks. And while this isn’t the most expensive price tag in the Fortnite Item Shop, Ghoul Trooper’s rarity may mean you’ll have to shell out more than just the 1500 V Bucks price tag. Because Ghoul Trooper has not made an appearance in the Fortnite Item Shop for 3 months now, so you’ll need to go to a 3rd party seller.

Skull Trooper [1500 V Bucks]

And to end, ladies and gentlemen, we present the Skull Trooper.

Skull Trooper

The Skull Trooper skin is an Epic outfit that was released into Battle Royale in Fortnite Season 1. The skull trooper is so expensive from 3rd party sellers these days because it's such an OG skin and because it's so customizable.

And that was your rundown of the most expensive skins. Epic Games has certainly given us a ton of high-price skins. And If these skins are a little too expensive for your taste, we get it! These are the most expensive skins of all time, so it makes sense.
