The Worst Skins in Valorant
Valorant is a free to play game that makes its money from selling skins. You would expect them to just make great skins then, wouldn’t you? Well, you’d be wrong. Okay, that's not fair, they do make great skins, but they also make a lot of trash. And in this list we’re going to go through the absolute worst of the worst, the ugliest skins that Valorant has to offer.
The whole Infantry skin line is very basic and underwhelming, but for this list, we have gone for the Operator as the very worst skin in the collection.
See, the Operator is arguably the most prestigious gun in the game, and that's what make this skins all the more insulting. The Operator has some amazing skins to compete with this one as well, such as the Elderflame, Glitchpop, and Reaver skins. And by comparison, the Infantry skin just looks beyond bland.
As a standalone skin, this weapon skin is actually good-looking, but the problem with this skin, is that it is almost a carbon copy of the Glitchpop Phantom weapon skin, from the Glitchpop EP 2 skin collection. Actually, the whole Undercity collection is a pure Glitchpop ripoff.
The only difference between the two skin lines is that the Glitchpop EP 2 skin collection costs 8700 Valorant Points, whereas the Undercity skin collection only costs 7100 Valorant Points. It's still saving, but both collections are well over $50.
The main reason we hate this skin is that it looks half-finished. The theme on the back half of the gun is simple yet clean, with the small bird silhouettes flying on the tail end of the gun.
This makes the skin seem like the designer of the skin at Riot Games decided to give up halfway through making the skin.
This 1775 VPs Ghost Recon skin looks worse than a lot of the pistol skins you can get for free from agent contracts, and the upgrades don’t justify purchasing it.
Where most skins of this price would have a finisher as the final upgrade, the Recon Ghost only features a Kill Banner - the small circle at the bottom of your screen when you get a kill. This is remarkably unnoticeable and not worth it.
